Applecare Warranty Issue [Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 @ 4:06pm] ipod [wfeather] Just happened to see this about Apple not honoring its Applecare warranties due to a computer being used by a smoker. This is the first I am hearing of this, but I would guess that if this is an issue with Apple's computer users, then it is probably also an issue with iPod and even iPhone users. 2 lovers | love me

Basically, I need to make a Cisco Linksys 5-port workgroup switch work with my Airport network. If this is impossible, I need to know what to do to replace it. I just have and it's come up with a message (that I was expecting!) saying that it's synced with a different library and do I want to sync it with my computer instead. I know that if I do that it will replace the stuff on my iPod with what's on my computer (even though it's pretty much the same), but what will happen with tracks that I've purchased from iTunes on my iPod? Will they be deleted when I sync or not? If they will be - how can I sync my iPod without losing these? Thanks in advance for any help! 1 lover | love me

Judianna Makovsky Talks Costumes of Harry Potter [Saturday, November 21st, 2009 @ 6:15am] harry_potter [jdnightghobhadi] For months, I have been searching endlessly for some scraps of some of the costume sketches done by the original Harry Potter costume designer Judianna Makovsky, who collaborated on the first two films before Jany Temime took over as the initial costume designer for all the Potter films to date, joining the crew during Prisoner of Azkaban. The only problem is because it is an old web page, the images that went along with the article are no longer available (which is sad because based on the footnotes, they sound like some rare photos of the behind-the-scenes departments; hopefully, hi-res versions will eventually be released). Every day, 400 Hogwarts children sit down to lessons between takes on the Harry Potter set, and after a couple of hours 400 children return to hair and makeup with their pigtails hanging off and their panstick plastered over their uniforms. [Saturday, November 21st, 2009 @ 1:49am] macintosh [linnylooloo] ARGH. i deleted a folder in my bookmarks about a month ago. it had a website in it that i currently need. i have spent the last hour and a half on google trying to find it again, but i can't. please tell me there is someway i can find a deleted bookmark!? i also e-mailed the owner of the website (using gmail) about a month ago but none of the emails are in my inbox, sent or trash folders anymore. i don't suppose i can get to those anymore either? i have a macbook pro if that matters. i'm so stressed out and pissed at myself. i'm about to cry. help? 3 lovers | love me

[Friday, November 20th, 2009 @ 5:57pm] macintosh [lucv_cate] with the barest touch of my mousepad on the scrollbar, it tends to (now...can't recall when this started) jump as if I had clicked it 2 or 3 times. Yet, it does not trigger anything that requires double-clicking...only the scrollbar. Any clue what is up? I'm running a Powerbook G4..OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger, I think) Edit complete- sometimes my fingers get ahead of one another, and I don't notice.
